Heeeeyyyy Everybody!! Hope you are having a good week! We are having a great one!! We actually have a baptism tonight!!! WOOO! Elijah is getting baptized! He decided last week and since he has been to church 3 times its all goods! We are so excited! We love this kid! He is crack -up!! He is moving back to the Philippines for a couple of months before he moves back to Perth again so we are going to miss him a lot!! :'(
We have had a lot of other good stuff happen this week too! We found some new investigators who are super keen! #blessed, We got to go on exchanges with Sister Caesar and Sister Grace, we went to Freemantle last pday and did some super touristy stuff! Its been a good week!! Heavenly Father blesses us when we pray specifically!!! I'm so grateful to serve here in Perth!! I love it! I love you all! Don't forget to watch and share the #lighttheworld video on the 25th!!! Happy Thanksgivin! Love, Sister Penrod x P.S. Sorry I forgot the camera cord so I'll send pics on Monday! P.S.S. This is her mom. Lucky me that her friends sent me photos this past week! Thank you!!! Hey everybody!!! I hope you all had a great week! We did! ( And yes I did hear about Donald Trump in case anyone else is wondering!) haha!
So this week was a week of miracles!! Woo! We met SO many amazing people!! So we decided at the beginning of the week that our investigators aren't really progressing so we prayed and took a leap of faith and felt we should just drop most of them and start fresh! So we did! And we decided to go tracting! woo! We prayed and just started biking and both of felt like we should go to Bishop's house. No one was home but we felt like we should tract his street, so we prayed about which side we should start on and at first nobody was home but then we found 2 new investigators! One is Ashna! She is Fijian-Indian! Shout out to Master G! haha! She is sooo cool and sooo nice!! She let us in right away! Instant best friends!! We are going back again tomorrow!! We also met Cindy! She is sooo cool! The Elders met her and then gave us her number so we texted her and invited her to a cottage evening and she came! And she came to church the next day she even gave us a ride!! She is so nice! So instant best friends again!! I love everyone here! She is from......The Phillippines! We are so blessed to have met her!! Missionary work is the best!! We also had a funny kind of sad experience this week. Our bikes were locked up at the train station but someone decided to steal our seats and helmets! :( They didn't even take the tyres just the seats!!! What the heck! haha! We had to shamefully walk them home with no seats! haha! They will be missed but hopefully we can find some new ones! I hope you all have an amazing week! I know this church is TRUE without a doubt!! I love it! I'm so grateful for the knowledge we have! And I know we will be blessed as we choose the harder right instead of the easier wrong!! Have a great week! Love yous! Sister Penrod x We planted a tomato! Christmas Decorations! Thanks Grandma Lyn! Viewer Discretion advised... sorry its Karl's fault We went to Freemantle! With Sister Grace and Sister Caesar!! The Beach!! Hey Everybody! This has been a pretty good week! We had our zone conference this week! We all learned so much! President talked all about not being discouraged! How we are on the right path to achieve the Lord's vision for Western Australia!
We also had interviews with President Fife! He gave me some great advice for coming to better know Jesus Christ! The last verse of Moroni 7 talks about how we can come to see the Saviour as He is, and we will be like Him! I love that! I know its true! To come to know our saviour better we must emulate him! Worship him! To Worship is to emulate at the highest form (President told me something like that!) I'm so grateful for our Saviour! I'm so grateful for the gospel! I'm so grateful for His atonement that has helped me so much and continues to help me every day! I love you all have a great week! Love, Sister Penrod x |
