Hello Family! Happy ANZAC Day! This week was SO GOOD! We were so blessed! We had some awesome miracles this week!
We felt inspired to call up a less active Filipino guy in the ward, Tito Renente, we have been trying to see him for a while and he told us we could come over last Tuesday! So we went over and holy miracles! So #1. Tito Renente was feeling pretty down and was really worried because he had to take his last driving exam before his Philippines license expired, he had tried taking it 3 times before and failed and if he failed this time he would lose his job. Well the spirit touched his heart and he prayed for the first time in a long time and… He passed his test!!! Yay! Miracle #2, after the lesson the members who came with us asked if we could go with them to try to see some old Filipino friends who they had tried to share the gospel with before a few years ago. Well we went to see them and it was so good! They are ready and excited to hear the gospel now! And Miracle #3, So on Tuesday night the Elders were on splits with the elders quorum and they didn’t coordinate with us so they showed up to see Tito Renente while we were there, but it was so inspired because Tito Renente’s housemate opened the door and they started talking to him and he is soooooooooooo GOLDEN! The next day they sent us his info and we went to see him and he is so solid! His name is Karl and he is from, guess where!?...The Philippines! He is 20 and was Catholic but has been Athiest for the past 3 years! Tito Renente was able to tell him about the Book of Mormon after we all left, they talked for a couple of hours! Karl told us that he knows that the Book of Mormon is going to help him find out who he really is! We are so excited for Karl! He came to church on Sunday and loved it! He told us all churches should go for 3 hours because we can learn so much! Karl is the best! God has prepared so many people here in Western Australia! We just have to let the spirit lead us to them! Something else awesome that happened this week was we had mission conference and Elder Nielson came! (I’m sure I’m spelling his name wrong but he is the NFL player!) He is sooo good! He is like President Fife the way he talks he just talks about all of these random things but somehow it all works together! Some things him and his wife said that I loved were: That our mission can be the greatest time of our life if we choose to make it, When you think you’re something you’re nothing! You can’t have miracles without major opposition! He gave us a mission blessing and it was so special! The spirit was sooo strong! I’m so grateful that we were able to hear him and his wife speak! We are so blessed! I wish you could all have been there I have like 7 hours worth of notes! This week was awesome! I love you all and I hope you have a wonderful week this week! Love you all heaps! Love, Sister Penrod 1. Hanging out with these girls is soooo fun! 2. Dorsa and I trying to be all artsy with our braids ;)

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great week! Our week was pretty good! We found 3 new investigators this week! And 7 potential investigators! #blessingsoftracting. They are from all over the world! Philippines, Nepal, Taiwan, Burma, Somalia, Malaysia the list goes on and on! It's so fun to meet so many people from around the world! We are so blessed in our area! We know that the Lord has been preparing so many people here!
One of my favourite things this week was our appointment with our new investigator Musa from Somalia! He is so amazing! His home is so humble there is hardly anything there but in his back yard he has boxes packed with tens of thousands of books that he has been gathering and is sending to Somalia! In May he is going to Somalia to start building a school for children! It was so inspiring to sit and talk with him! It is so amazing the difference that one person can make in the lives of so many! Musa is definetly an example of that! This week we have a mission conference with Elder Nielson! We are all so excited to learn from him! That is about it for this week! I hope that you all have a wonderful week! I Love you all! Love, Sister Penrod -- Sister Rhea Audrey Penrod Australia Perth Mission PO Box 185 Tuart Hill Western Australia 6939 1. Lahma and Damien teaching us how to be Samoan! 2. Bush fires for days! Bula Vinaka Family and Friends,
I hope you are all doing well! This week was one of those weeks where I just learned heaps! We had an awesome Zone Conference on Friday. President and Sister Fife are amazing teachers, I always learn so much from them. They talked a lot about tests and trials and how we need them in our lives to become like God!! I love Hebrews 12:5-11, especially verse 11! Read it!! We got to watch General Conference this weekend! We watch it a week after all of you! It was sooooo amazing (as always)! I especially loved President Dieter F. Uchtdorfs talk about how God can restore us! I loved it when he said “Obedience isn’t turning ourselves into something we are not, it is finding what we are made of.” I’m so grateful for a living prophet and apostles and that we get to listen to them in conference! I know that this church is true! I have a testimony of our savior Jesus Christ and his love for us! I hope you all have a wonderful week! I love you! Love, Sister Penrod xx 1. I got to see Sister Caesar!! 2. Ella Drew Sister Lao! Hello Family and Friends!
So basically this week was.... AWESOME! It was sooo good! We found 5 new investigators 5! What a miracle! And they are all pretty solid! #blessingsofknockingdoorsfordays! We are so excited we found a family and they are so golden! We were biking past this house and Sister Lao stopped me and said we need to talk to this lady weeding her garden. So we stopped and asked if she needed help she said no but then sister Lao asked the golden question "where are you from?" and she said Phillippines and we just new that this was inspired! We talked to Janet (that is her name) for ages and she invited us inside! Her and her husband have 2 kids 11 and 14 and her mother in law is staying with her! They are seriously the nicest! We were there for over 2 hours, it was like we have been friends forever! It seriously so cool how the spirit works, I may not be speaking a foreign language but I know that the spirit has blessed me so that when Sister Lao is talking to people in Tagalog in lessons I can understand, not every word but I can basically understand what is going on! It is seriously a miracle! Janet's daughter Ella is so cute and a really good artist! She drew a picture of me while we were there! I'm so excited for them their family is so amazing! As we were leaving Janet's husband came home, he was so happy to see us and told us that we had to come back next week so we could talk to him too! Yay! Miracles! Another miracle is that our other investigator Arlene came to church! I love Arlene so much! I feel like she is my mum away from home! She has me call her "Tita" or aunty! She is the best! She loved fast and testimony meeting! We are so excited for her! so yeah this week was sooo good! We are so excited to see what next week brings! We got to see Womens conference yesterday (we are a week behind you in America). It was so good! I loved how everyone spoke about service! It was so inspirational! I loved President Eyerings 3 commitments! If you don't know what they are go look them up! I'm so grateful for this gospel! I'm so grateful for the focus we have on service. I have such a strong testimony about service! I know that when we serve others we can truly feel God's love for them and ourselves! I hope you all have a wonderful week! I love you! Mahal Tika!!
