Happy Easter Everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful Easter Weekend! We had such a great week! Good news! Sister Lao and I are staying together this transfer!!! Our whole district is staying the same! Yay! We are so excited! We got to spend Sunday night with our Filipina investigator, Arlene, and her family! She is so so fun! She gave me Toyot for the first time (I'm sure I spelled that wrong)! It's like a dried fish that you fry. It's super salty but sooo good! The Filipino members are converting me to Filipino food, I love it!
Last Monday we got to go to the zoo for pday! And guess what Haden and Olivia! I finally saw a Koala! I took heaps of pictures for you two, so you can stop asking me now! haha! We found a new investigator this week! Her name is Kelly and she is from Samoa! She has relatives who served missions! She is so wonderful! Seriously like within a few minutes of meeting her she had invited us back for lunch! We are so excited to teach her! I'm so grateful for Jesus Christ and his atonement! I know that he is our savior I'm so grateful for the gospel and the peace and joy it brings! I hope you all have a wonderful week this week! I miss and love you all! Mahal Tika, Sister Penrod

Bula Family!
It's only been a few days since the last time you had to hear from me so I will try not to bore you to death ;) Wednesday was literally the best day ever! We got to go to the temple for a session! IT WAS AWESOME! I really feel like my testimony of the temple grew! And to make it even better I got permission from President Fife to stay after so I could do baptisms for the dead with Rau! It was her first time and it was so beautiful! The spirit was so strong! It was an amazing day! We got to spend some time with Sister Caesar too! So.. Best day ever! The rest of the week was pretty good. We had exchanges with the Sister Training Leaders on Friday! They are so fun! I was with Sister Bisonogo she is from New Zealand, but originally from South Africa but her dad is Italian and her mum is maori! We had a blast! We had a family home evening Saturday night at the Nicomedes house! Brother Nicomedes is the man! He is actually Sister Lao's distant cousin as well! It was so much fun! Our Investigator, Steve, came he is so funny, he is in his 80s and from Hungary! We had a blast though! So It was a pretty good week! Transfers are not until next week because this a 7 week transfer.. We don't really know why there is an extra week but cool! haha! Anyways I hope you all have a wonderful week! And Easter! It's easter on sunday!!!! Yayyyy! If you haven't watched the followhim.mormon.org video yet! I invite you to do so! It is so good! #hallelujah! I love you all heaps! Have a wonderful week! Au lomani Iko, Sister Penrodxxx -- Hello Family!
How are you? I know you are all wondering how I am so I will tell you! I am doing pretty great! It was hot this week… but that’s pretty normal round these parts, I’m starting to rock some serious mission tan lines. We biked a LOT, but that is pretty normal too. I got 2 flat tyres, fixed them (mum you should be so proud)! We had a specialized zone training by President Fife! It was so good. It was all about God, he used Elder Jeffery R. Holland’s talk from the January ensign about the Godhead! It was so good! If you get a chance reread that talk it is awesome! We have 3 new investigators! IT’S A MIRACLE! One is Juliet from Zimbabwae! She is so gorgeous! She has to girls and they are so cute! I’m so happy we met her! I met a lady in our ward from New Zealand and she said her son lives in Springville and is a Proffesor at BYU! Small world his last name is Conklin! His wife teaches Fijian classes at BYU! Crazy eh? We went to a devotional on Sunday night it was a youth devotional and one of the members we are close with was speaking at it. So he asked us to come! It was awesome! It was all about hope. They had people from all different stages in life talk about hope from where they were! It was so good. Brother Nicomedus shared this poem that I love “ I asked for riches, that I might be happy – I was given poverty that I might be wise. I asked for health, that I might do greater things – I was given infirmity that I might do better things. I asked God for strength, that I might achieve -- I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey. I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men – I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life – I was given life, that I mmight enjoy all things. I got nothing that I asked for, but everything that I had hoped for. My unspoken prayers were answered – I am among all men, most richly blessed. #inspired I’m so grateful for all of the experiences I have had on my mission in this short time. I have ate A LOT of humble pie, and I am so grateful for that. I defineltly have heaps more to eat! I’m so grateful for this gospel that truly helps us to change our natures. I love the opportunity that I have to learn and grow here in the APM! I am so blessed to be here! I love you all and hope you have a fantastic week! Mahal tika!! Love, Sister Penrod xx Komostapo Everyone!
This week was pretty good! We had an awesome Mission conference with Elder Kevin W. Pearson! He talked all about focus! It was absolutely amazing! We were all inspired! It was doubly awesome because we got to spend the day with Sister Caesar! yay! I love mission conference! We tracted a lot this week! It was actually pretty good! Desperate times call for desperate measures! :) Our ward is really good! Bishop Grencerri is really on to it, he helps us so much! Belinda (Our baptisimal date) is struggling pretty hard out with quitting smoking! We are doing everything we can for her but It definetly takes a strong desire to quit smoking! But Yeah that was pretty much our week! We only tracted into one naked man and I only got bitten by a german shepard! So basically you can count it as a pretty good week! We did service and received mangos and guavas in return! The best! And we danced every single night!! Anyways! I hope you all have a wonderful week! Rember to Focus on Christ! I know this church is true I love it with all of my heart! Love you all soooo much! Mahal Kita, Sister Penrod xxxxx 1. District Meeting! 2. I got a picture with my Fijian Sister! 3.
